Guide to digital editions
Interactive digital catalogs
A printed catalog is good at showing products and bad at selling them online: a reader who likes an item has to search for it again. An interactive catalog lets them tap the product and land on its page.
How it works in Drapress
Start from the catalog PDF
Upload the catalog you print. The edition is built from its pages and opens under a link in the catalog’s name.
A link on every product
Draw a spot over a product and attach its web address — a product page, an online store or a booking page. Links already in the PDF are suggested for you.
More than one action per spot
A spot can carry up to four actions: a web address, a phone call, an email or directions, so a reader can buy online or ask first.
See what gets tapped
The report shows daily totals of opens and of visits to each page and, depending on the plan, of taps on each spot, so you can see which pages readers reached most and which products drew them to your site.
What it does not do
The edition links out to your store; it has no shopping cart, no prices that update by themselves and no stock information.
